This is the perfect holiday recipe that will make your home smell heavenly.
6 large apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup water
juice of one lemon
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 sticks butter
Preheat oven to 350. Combine apples, water and lemon juice in 8x8 baking dish. In a bowl combine oats, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Pour in the butter and stir until crumbly.
Spread the topping over the apples and bake 45-55 minutes until the topping is crisp and brown. Enjoy!
