FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Fort Worth police say a man has been arrested on a murder charge after his accomplice was shot and killed by an occupant of the home they planned to rob of marijuana and money.
Police say 25-year-old Quazian Walker turned himself in after 21-year-old Jose Franco was killed Wednesday. Though Walker didn't fire the shot that killed Franco, police say he can be charged in connection with his accomplice's death because he was engaged in a dangerous act — an armed robbery — that caused the death of another person.
Walker was jailed Friday on a murder charge with bail set at $50,000. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
Homicide Detective Kyle Sullivan Fort Worth Star-Telegram (http://bit.ly/2uXDbkW ) said Franco was armed with a gun and Walker with a stun gun.
