Our luau last week was a lot of fun and we have pictures up on our Facebook page. We’d like to issue a huge “thank you” to “Elvis” aka Dan Devivo for bringing the party!

We will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of Labor Day, however, there will be the Bluegrass/potluck supper that evening.

Our next dance will be Friday, Sept. 8, featuring Western Reunion.  Doors open at 6 p.m.

Activities for the week: Wood carving on Tuesday; Forty-Two tournament/breakfast party/annual trophy awards, blood sugar testing by Cherokee Rose, utility assistance by TX Neighborhood Services, and Dollar General shopping on Wednesday; Chess, group exercise and local grocery shopping on Thursday and dance, Bingo and local grocery shopping on Friday.

Besides the scheduled activities, there are games, puzzles, Forty Two and visiting going on every day.  Don’t see it on the calendar? Make a suggestion; we’re always looking for new ideas.
