DENTON, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a woman was killed after her vehicle crashed into a school bus that was stopped at a red light in North Texas.
McKinney police say the woman was driving her vehicle at a high rate of speed when she crashed late Thursday night into the Denton Independent School District bus on U.S. Highway 380.
Police said one student was taken to the hospital with minor scrapes and bruises. Everyone else on the bus was checked out at the scene.
Officials said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.
