The Somervell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the theft of an ATM machine — and the four individuals who wore ski masks while committing the crime early last Friday morning.
At about 2:35 a.m. on Dec. 29, a white Ford Econoline van was used in the theft of an ATM from inside the Phillips 66 gas station at 1406 NE Big Bend Trail in Glen Rose, according to law enforcement authorities.
A news release from the Sheriff’s Office states, “This vehicle was stolen from Pecan Valley MHMR (Cleburne). The vehicle was occupied by 4 subjects all dressed in black, wearing gloves and ski masks.
“The occupants entered the Phillips 66 gas station and removed the ATM machine from inside the business. Please contact this agency if you have any possible information or like offenses.”
Somervell County Chief Deputy Dwayne Griffin said that an undetermined amount of money was stored in the ATM.
If you have information on the crime, call the non-emergency number to reach the Somervell County Sheriff’s Office at 254-897-2242.
