On Tuesday, June 3, Glen Rose assistant superintendent Phillip Gibson called police to report that the high school auditorium had been burglarized.

The building was broken into sometime between the high school graduation ceremony on May 30 and June 2. Superintendent Wayne Rotan said a soundboard and a laptop was missing.

“The soundboard is a $5,000 to $8,000 piece of equipment,” Rotan said. “We don’t have a choice but to replace it.”

Somervell County Sheriff’s Lt. Anders Dahl said the incident is still under investigation. Investigators are reviewing footage from the campus security cameras.
