The Rev. Quintin Morrow, Priest-in-charge at the newly formed Cross of Christ Episcopal Church, will greet members of the Glen Rose community June 20.  The event will be held at The Clubhouse at Tuscan Village from 4 to 6 p.m.  Guests will also get the opportunity to meet members of the congregation and enjoy light refreshments.

Cross of Christ is a mission station of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in

Granbury and is the first Episcopal/Anglican Church in Somervell County.

“This is just a great chance for everyone in the area to meet us and find out more about the vision of our congregation,” said Kay Myers, a member of the church.  “It will be a very informal setting for people to meet Fr Morrow and get more acquainted with each of us.”

Cross of Christ meets every Sunday at 5 p.m. for the Service of Holy Communion.  The congregation meets at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

“We are a welcoming church, inviting all kinds of people from all walks of life to come and meet the Lord Jesus Christ,” Morrow said. “ We live out our beliefs on our knees in worship, so the best way to get to know us is to worship with us.”
