The Pie Peddlers — Rhonda Cagle and Jean Ford — finished their move across the square to bigger digs in part of the former Anderson's space, just in time for Christmas orders.

The bakers are enjoying a larger kitchen and pie aficionados can savor a slice of pie inside or outside with a view of the courthouse square.

One thing that hasn't changed is the delicious smell when you open the door. Or the sign that reads: “Pie Fixes Everything.”

Meanwhile, Brenda Ransom, proprietor of Country Peddlers, is taking in the former Pie Peddlers space on Barnard Street. For the month of December, Sadler's is occupying the space. But after the first of the year, Country Peddler's plans to expand for a total of three connected rooms in the historic ice house building.
