The Laureate Iota Sigma Chapter, of Beta Sigma Phi recently met recently at the home of Erma Sanderson. She, Tamm

y Dooley and Cheryl  Nabors served as hostesses. 

The residence was festively decorated in Halloween, Fall and voodoo décor, and members were treated to a build your own chili bar and apple pie.

Sticking with the theme, attendees dressed in voodoo costumes, and the meeting was held poolside and brought to order by President Cynthia Joyner.

Copies of the chapter’s new by-laws, approved at the May meeting, were distributed. Letters were received and read from scholarship recipients. Committee Reports were presented, and Treasurer Sharon Patton updated the group on the clubs financials.

Members in attendance at the October meeting included Crickett Bacon, Tammy Dooley, Betty Gosdin, DeAnna Hardie, Kathy Jackson, Cynthia Joyner, Cynthia Moates, Cheryl Nabors, Sharon Patton, Shirley Reinke, Erma Sanderson, Carole Stricklin and Katie Wooderson.

The next meeting will be the annual Thanksgiving Meeting, which will be held at the Somervell County Citizens Center.
