After seven years with no regularly scheduled Sunday evening activities, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship west of Glen Rose is moving its Wednesday night activities to Sunday evenings.

The church's doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Ping-pong, air hockey and other games will be set up for kids and youth (grades K-12) in the Student Activity Area. Snacks will be served at 5:45 p.m.

Focus activities will begin at 6 p.m. Adults will pray for known needs of people in the church family and outside the church. An informal topical discussion related to current issues and how the Bible speaks to those issues will follow.

Students can experience some fun and contemporary music before moving into Bible time. Students will be broken into smaller groups according to their grade levels.

A nursery also will be provided.

Activities will end at 7 p.m., although those who want to stay for a while to play games and visit are welcome to do so until 7:30.

Cornerstone is located in the former Rock Creek Baptist facility about five minutes from the Glen Rose square. Head south on Texas Highway 144 for four-and-a-half miles, then turn left on Farm Road 202. The church is two-and-a-half miles on the right.

The dress is casual, the folks are friendly and the worship is fresh, upbeat and real.
