Glen Rose intermediate and elementary schools traveled to Latham Springs Camp for the UIL academic meet on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009.  The following students and teachers participated: Art 4th Grade was coached by Theresa Mascola. The team placed 6th. The following students were part of the team: LoganThames, Emillio Villapondo, Alex Zuniga and Gage Williams.

Art 5th grade was coached by Theresa Mascola. The team placed 4th. The following students were part of the team: Lilly Tubbs, Jaycee Nolte, Crowe Theim and Hannah Fenton. Maps, Graphs and Charts 5th grade was coached by Tonya Rabenaldt. The following students participated in the event: Kully Reynolds (6th place), Gracie Morris and Emileigh Cantwell. Dictionary Skills 5th grade was coached by Sharmin Smith. The following students participated in the

event: Brittany Watson, Wyatt Dahl and Hayes Burney (3rd place). Music Memory 5th grade was coached by Penny Brister. The following team members placed 5th:  CJ Forbe, JT Larramore, Darrion Harjo and Trevor Easter.

Music Memory 4th grade was coached by Penny Brister. The following team members placed 5th: Dawson Sharp, Analisa Williams, Victor deLos Santos and Gabe Ramirez (1st place).

Music Memory 3rd grade was also coached by Penny Brister. The following team members placed 3rd in the competition: Justin Fowler, Josh Mascola (4th place), Courtney Morris and Ariel Easter.

Listening 5th grade was coached by Janan Stephenson. The following students participated: Cesar Villapondo, Juvia Flores and Sidney Gantt.

Ready Writing 5th grade was coached by Jill Power. The following students participated: Jill Mercer(6th place), Kaley Shaw (4th place) and Hunter Smith (1st place).

Spelling 5th grade was coached by Trish Beauregard. The following students participated: Bari Douglas, Shay Osowski, and Jennifer Mora.

Oral Reading 5th grade was coached by Candace Stegint. The following students participated: Kaley Shaw (2nd place),  Kate Rabenaldt and Sophie Bozarth.

Social Studies 5th grade was coached by Mary Strayhorn. The following students participated: Brennan Cary, Josue Guia and kalen Keathley (5th place).

Number Sense 5th grade was coached by ruth Ann Emerson. The following students participated: Mallory Daniels (3rd place), Elyssia Rivera and Kori Parnell.

Number Sense 4th grade was also coached by Ruth Ann Emerson. The following students participated: Brayden Taylor, Chyenne Noisey and Hannah Sheldon.

Spelling 4th grade was coached by Judy Hale. Lilly Birdwell, Hensley Mulina and Audrey Smith participated.

(4th place), Emma Bozarth and Audrey Smith.

Ready Writing 4th grade was coached by Jaylynn Cauthen. The following students participated: Payte Treadaway (4th place), Rhett Downing (6th place) and Alexis Gill.

Storytelling 3rd grade was coached by Jackie Odom. The following students participated: Laura Ogletree (2nd place), Emma Crabtree and Mackenzie Campos.
