The Texas AgriLife Extension Service programs in Somervell, Comanche, Eastland, Erath, Hamilton and Hood County will host a five-hour Continuing Education Program on Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center in Stephenville. Five continuing education credits (CEUís) will be offered to Private, Commercial and Non-Commercial Applicators.

The program registration will begin at 8 a.m. The presentations will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. Five topics will be discussed covering a wide range of subjects. They include Managing Tree Diseases and Oak Wilt Update, Renee Burks with the Texas Forest Service; Rainwater Harvesting: Environmental Impacts, Billy Kniffen, Texas AgriLife Extension Service; Riparian and Watershed Health, Ricky Linex, NRCS; Laws and Regulations, Dr. Don Renchie, Texas AgriLife Extension Service; and Home Pest Control, Whit Weems, Texas AgriLife Extension Service. The 5 hour program will include 2 hours in General, 2 hours Integrated Pest Management and 1 hour of Laws and Regulations for your Private, Commercial and/or Non-Commercial applicator license.

Please notice that the location for the CEU program has been moved to the Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center in Stephenville.
