We were glad to have Linda and Wayne Helms, Larry Hively, Gary Hively and Pat Ashcraft visit the Citizen’s Center last week. Also, Jackie and Wayne Carstenson are back to stay for several months.

The “42” tournament winners last week were: 1st place Dortha Beck & Floyd Flanary, 2nd place Roy Mercer & Don Baker, a tie for 3rd place between the teams of Veda Gosdin & Nancy Moore and Loveda Swaim & Grady May, 4th place Eddie & Billie Flanary. Other teams included Patsy Thompson & Barbara Kayser, Janelle Gartrell & Alice Lance, Trey Welch & Ann Parham, Dorothy Jo Osborn & Ila Verne Stull, Zula Hunter & Cora Harkins, and Mary Voss & Johnny Selby.

Linda Dickinson from Dickinson Cattle Co. Inc. visited the center last week.  Linda entertained us with gospel music. She and her husband were attending the Longhorn Conference. We hope she’ll come back next year.

We are trying to get 20 people together to attend one of the Granbury Opera Shows. The cost will be $10 a person. Since we no longer have the large vans, we will have to carpool. Call Pam Baker at 897-2139 to get on the list.
