Elizabeth Davis, 70, of Granbury is believed to have escaped serious injury when her 2013 Buick Enclave collided with the exterior wall of a doctor's office. The accident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. Friday outside the office of Dr. Michael Davis, located at Glen Rose Medical Center.

The exterior wall of the building was crunched and the impact of the collision could also be seen inside of the administrative area of the doctor's office, where receptionists and other workers were still a little shaken by the incident.

Glen Rose Police Chief Buck Martin said it was fortunate that no injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

Witnesses reportedly told Martin that it appeared the driver might have "blacked out" prior to the incident.

Martin said Elizabeth Davis was coherent and apologetic at the scene, but she could not be certain what caused her to drive the automobile onto the sidewalk and into the building. She remained in the emergency room at noon, but Martin said he did not believe she had suffered serious injury.
