GLEN ROSE—Mark Malcolm Mills passed away on Oct. 25, 2017 at his residence in Glen Rose after a long battle with Glioblastoma. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Glen Rose.

His was a full life lived across contradictions. He put tofu on his hamburgers. He started his life in Southern California and finished in Central Texas. He enjoyed working downtown, high up in the skyscrapers and loved growing grapes on the side of a hill in Glen Rose. He read a lot of books and built chicken coops. He spent a lot of time with the children he helped raise and they all appreciate what he added to their lives. But the time is never nearly enough.

He leaves behind three siblings, Sally Mills and husband Rob Bork, Dixie Mills, and Tom Mills; four children, Julie Kotwitz and husband Stan, Jason Brunt and wife Clarissa, Matt Brunt, and Micah Brunt; five grandkids; two nephews; and one loving wife, Janet Mills who knows he is in heaven now, telling stories with his Father and chatting it up with Popes and kings and farmers long gone.

In lieu of flowers Mark would appreciate donations to The National Brain Tumor Society or The American Brain Tumor Association.
