Howard E. Brawley, Jr.

GLEN ROSE Howard E. Brawley, Jr., went home May 29, 2009 to be with his Lord, with his loving wife Janell and his dear sister Bonnah by his side. Service were held Tuesday, June 2, at First Baptist Church, Glen Rose. He was buried at Squaw Creek Cemetery, Rainbow, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the new building fund at First Baptist Church, Glen Rose, in his memory and honor.

Mr. Brawley was born April 1, 1928 in Ft. Worth to Howard Edwin Brawley, Sr. and Lauree Wood Brawley. He served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of A&B Kabota Implement in Stephenville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Glen Rose where he was a greeter for many years. He was loved and respected by everyone in the community.

He is survived by his wife: Janell Brawley of Glen Rose, Sister: Bonnah Boyd of Glen Rose, Nephew: Dan Boyd and his wife Renee of Lubbock, Grandnephew: David Boyd, Grandniece: Taryn Boyd both of Lubbock, Son: Dr. Jan N. Ogletree and wife Barbara of Austin, Granddaughters: Cindy Cooper of Bakersfield, CA, Marla Spellman and husband Lance of Dallas, five Great Grandchildren.
