OKLAHOMA CITY - Bobby Charles Evans, a resident of Wynnewood, Okla., died Jan. 22, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 67.

Services were held at DeArman Funeral Chapel, Monday, Jan. 25, with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Evans was born Oct. 23, 1942 in Coleman to Dorothy (Bains) and Charles "C.Buck" Cowan Evans. He was married to Jymme (Sells) in Dublin on May 22, 1983.  He moved to Wynnewood from Dublin in 1985. Evans owned and operated his own farm and ranch, as well as having worked for Halliburton, and in the garment industry for Levi Strauss Company.  Evans was a Mason.  He also loved to play poker, fish, hunt, and read westerns.

Survivors include his wife, Jymme Evans of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Randy Morgan of Jonesboro; son, Bobby Evans, Jr. of Comanche, son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tricia Evans of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Linda Martin of Marble Falls; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bob Ribble of May; brother, Bill Evans of McAllen; five grandchildren including “One Rotten Kid” who he really enjoyed wrestling with and teaching to fish and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Todd Renfro, Jim Clanton, James Hutchinson, Dr. Adam Vascellaro, Nub Sullivan, Randy Mackey, Louis Perry and Jack Cannon.
