GRANBURY - Billie Dixon Wylie, 85, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, in Fort Worth.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Southside Baptist Church in Granbury. Burial will be in Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow.
Mrs. Wylie was born July 13, 1926, in Coleman, Texas, to William Edgar Dixon and Maggie Jones Dixon. She married Charlie N. Wylie on Jan. 8, 1944, in Glen Rose. She had lived in Granbury since January 1967 and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and a daughter, Beckie East.
Survivors are her sons, William "Bill" Dixon of Mesquite and Glenn Wylie and wife, Carolyn, of Granbury; a daughter, Tanya Smith, and husband, Vince Jackson, of Euless; grandchildren Wesley Dixon, Billy Dixon and wife, Louisa, Dottie Dixon, Misty Dixon, Dwayne Wylie and wife, Kim, Laurie Rowland and husband, Craig, Lisa Kindle, Tammy Simmons and husband, Eric, Mona Tagg and husband, Toby, Jesse Wayne and wife, Jennifer, Kara Watson and husband, Terry, Rusty East and wife, B.J, Renee Wilkinson, Corbitt Harvison and James Harvison.; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Dixon, and wife, Edna, of Mesquite; and numerous nieces and nephews.
