Kenneth U.L. Moss

GLEN ROSE - Kenneth U.L. Moss, 67, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at the Glen Rose Medical Center after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the Ward Branch Cemetery with Pastor Brent Ferren officiating.

Kenneth was born April 13, 1942 in Walnut Springs. He was a son of the late U.L. and Leola Faye Bohannan Moss. Kenneth moved to Fort Worth where he finished school. On June 2, 1961, he was united in marriage to Sharon Lynn Hekman in Fort Worth. Kenneth lived in Benbrook until moving to Glen Rose in 1975. He worked as a welder and quality control inspector for Comanche Peak and later as a driver for FedEx before retiring. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of Glen Rose, daughters, Barbara Moss of Lipan, Tammie Hardin and husband Tony of Walnut Springs, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many other special friends and relatives.
