TRENT - Billy D. “Bill” Fellers, 68, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Trent.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Trent First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Freeman and Vershel Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the Trent Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Bill was born Aug. 20, 1943, at Leon Junction in Coryell County to Cordie Everett and Margaret (Henager) Fellers. Bill graduated from Trent High School in 1961.
He married Sherry Heatly on June 27, 1964, in Trent. He was a U. S. Army veteran and graduated from the Army Corps of Engineers. He retired after working 20 years for TXU. He was also a chemist and inventor.
Bill was a member and deacon of Trent First Baptist Church. He was proud of his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Fellers, of Trent; three sons, Billy Fellers Jr. and wife, Erica, of Glen Rose, Jeff Fellers and wife, Sandy, of Vanderbilt and Jay Fellers and wife, Sharonda, of Abilene; five sisters, Dorothy Yandell of Clyde, Mildred Fellers of Baird, Virginia Moore of Granbury and Rose Yandell and Mary Francis Brazelton, both of Fort Worth; two brothers, Bryon “ Sonny” Fellers of Baird and Bobby Fellers and wife, Marie, of Abilene; grandchildren Alan, Caitlin, Colleen, Victoria, Natalie, Dillon and Taylor Fellers; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marvin Fellers.
