GRANBURY — Mark Joseph Harvey, 45, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in Fort Worth.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Masonic Graveside Rites from Masonic Lodge 202 will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Orange Grove Cemetery in Moss Point, Miss. A family reception will follow at the Midway Methodist Church on Hwy 90 after the graveside service.
Mark was born April 7, 1964, in Pascagoula, Miss., to C.L. and Gayle Benefield Harvey. He had worked for TXU for 26 years at the power plant and was currently employed at Wolf Hollow. He was past master of the Glen Rose Masonic Lodge and served as a Shriner. He was a Methodist. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Eve Benefield formerly of Kreole, Miss. and B.C. "Si" Harvey and Juanita Cowan.
Survivors include children, Sarah, Skylen and Scarlett Harvey, of Granbury; mother of his children Delana Harvey of Granbury; parents C.L. "Harv" and Gayle Harvey of Grand Bay, Ala.; brother Si Harvey and wife Jiena, of Hico; sisters, Carla Garrett and husband, Dr. Bill Garrett, of Houston, Kim Newberry and husband, Dave, of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.
