On April 22 at 6 p.m., a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Glen Rose Independent School District will be held in the Board Room of the Administration Building.

Student recognitions will focus on state powerlifting champion Jared Thames, state FCCLA qualifiers, state FFA qualifiers and Visual Arts Scholastic Event state qualifiers. Staff recognition will be held for Leaders for 21st Century Learning.

There will be reports from the child nutrition coordinator, Glen Rose Elementary Principal Debbie Morris and Superintendent Wayne Rotan.

Consent agenda items to be discussed include the district monthly investment report, the March 2013 financial report, student out-of-state travel for National FCCLA competition, and waiver request to TEA for low attendance days.

The action item to be addressed will be considering the approval of a competitive sealed proposal for elementary campus skylight replacement.

In closed session, the board will consider contracts for the child nutrition coordinator, teachers and a diagnostician.
