Glen Rose ISD board of trustees will host a public hearing a its regular monthly meeting Monday.

Items on the Oct. 20 agenda include a hearing on the school district's 2012 School FIRST rating.

The board will recognize a Duke Talent Search Qualifier and Texas Soil and Water Conservation Outstanding Teacher Wendy Thompson, district leaders in 21st Century learning and campus leaders in observation of Principals Month.

In other items of business, the board will hear reports on activities, initiatives and new programs at the junior high campus and the school's passing and attendance rate.

In his report, Superintendent Wayne Rotan will give an update on district-wide enrollment and school finance litigation.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building board room, located at 1102 Stadium Drive.
