Hill College will host its eighth annual Boots and Suits Ball at 6:30 p.m., this Saturday, May 11, at the Cleburne Conference Center, benefiting the Hill College Emergency Medical Services Professions. It will be an evening of dining, music, dancing and fundraising.

“The Boots and Suits Ball is such a worthy cause because it directly benefits the students in the communities we serve,” Dr. Sheryl Kappus, Hill College president, said.

Each year, the ball brings together individuals from the community, making charity a fun-filled event. The ball will feature both silent and live auctions. Many local businesses and individuals donate items for the auctions.

Previous Boots and Suits events have brought in more than $300,000, and various college departments from arts to welding have benefited.

Individual tickets are $45 per person. Table sponsorships are also available.

“It is the mission of Hill College to educate, train and prepare students for their future, and we need the support of our communities to help us accomplish that,” Dr. Kappus added.

Tickets are ready for purchase, and donations can be made as soon as possible by mail. For more information, please contact Sharon Middlebrook at (254) 659-7502, or by email at smiddlebrook@hillcollege.edu.
