Emma Bozarth and Harrison Hawkins won the mixed doubles division for Glen Rose High School and the Lady Tigers earned the girls team title on March 22 in the annual Nick Conte Classic in Glen Rose.

Annie Bryant earned second place in girls singles for GRHS. She beat an opponent from Grandview 8-2, and one from Waco 8-5. She lost in the girls final, 8-2 to a girl from Grandview.

Emily Darby took third in the division for the Lady Tigers. She opened with a win over Troy, 8-6, then lost to the eventual champion from Grandview, 8-4. She defeated an opponent from Waco for third place, 9-7.
Hawkins and Bozarth defeated a Stephenville team 8-0, a duo from Lake Worth 8-1, and a pair from Waco 8-5 in the mixed doubles championship match.

Tanner Stroud teamed with Ty Smith and finished third in boys doubles for the Tigers. They beat a team from Troy 8-4, the lost to Lake Worth, 8-2. They finished with a win over Dublin, 9-8 (7-5 tiebreaker) for third place.

Also for GRHS, Briley Green won the consolation title in boys singles, while Harlie Thompson and Ashley Mena won the girls doubles consolation.

Coach Gregger Yeager's Tigers and Lady Tigers will compete in the District 8-4A tournament next. It's set for April 5-6 at Midlothian Heritage High School.
