NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Jade King scored a pair of goals, powering the Texas Tech soccer team to a 2-0 victory over California State, Northridge.

With the victory, the Red Raiders (7-1) increased their winning streak to three matches.

King, a junior forward, netted her first goal in the 20th minute and the Texas Tech defense did the rest on the way to a 1-0 advantage at half.

After several missed opportunities, King notched her second goal of the contest in the 75th minute to help cement the Red Raiders second road win.

Texas Tech is scheduled to face off in a road match at 3 p.m. Sunday against Loyola Marymount.
