Glen Rose dropped three of four junior high football contests to China Spring on Oct. 29.

The 8th B Tigers were the only Glen Rose team to come out on top in a 6-0 shutout. Dustin Stone scored the only points on a 24-yard gallop and the defense did the rest behind the standout play of Dylan Whitlock, Jason Rambo, Nick Morgan, Colten Cully and Kevin Horn.

Offensive standouts in the win were Stone, Jeffrey Harris, Colton Bumpas, Hunter Phillips, Hunter Williams, Estevan Carranza and Robert Jameson.

The 7th B Tigers dropped a close one, 12-8. Their only scoring came from Devin Riedemann on an 82-yard run and Jayden Reynolds on a two-point conversion pass from Alex Cocita.

Offensive standouts were Riedemann, Cocita, Shane Moore, Jace Bridges and Drannon Brewer, while defensive standouts were Reynolds, Austin Carpenter, Ryne K’Miller, Thomas Watson and Taylor Beckwith.

The 7th A Tigers fell 22-0 despite the play of offensive standouts Hayden Holder, Christian Barrios, Jayton Dillard and Parker Armstrong, and defensive standouts Jonathan Rios, R.J. Darch, Preston Shuffield and Jacob Locke.

The 7th B Tigers were shut out 29-0 with John Henry Powell, Senovio Delagarza, Hunter Redmond and Wayne McFadin standing out on offense and Omar Sanchez, Sergio Ayala, Jed Bridges, Kevin Uhelein, David Barnes and Erik van Assendelft leading the defense.
