Glen Rose swept four wins from West last week in junior high girls basketball action.
The eighth grade “A” Lady Tigers built a 20-2 halftime lead and were ahead 24-6 after three before having to hold off a Lady Trojan rally in the fourth to win 31-21.
Madison Morrow scored eight points to lead the way while Kelsey Potter and Jayce Long each had six, Ashlan Bernard added five, Meredith Odom netted four and Kalli Crabtree chipped in with two.
The seventh “A” girls raced out to a 13-1 advantage by the end of the first and never looked back in a 45-12 blowout.
Madi Gibson poured in 17 points, hitting eight field goals and a free throw. Other scorers included Dakota Ponce and Destenie lewis with six each, Sabrina Watson with four, Carli Jackowski with three, Bailey Brown, Page Green, Olivia Banz and Brynna Taylor with two each and Hannah Morales with one.
The eighth “B” club won 28-17 thanks largely to a 13-4 advantage in the second quarter.
Meghan Branham and Kimberlee McCullough were both in double figures with 10 points each while Destiny Sutherland tallied six and Kedzie Sheets added two.
The seventh “B” girls ran away with a 14-4 third-quarter surge and won 36-20.
Megan Bretton amassed 22 points to lead the Lady Tigers, while Ashley Daniels scored six, haley Allen added four and Kensy Massey and Madi Baker chipped in with two each.
