The Glen Rose Lady Tigers split with a pair of 2A teams on the hardwood last week, edging Comanche 42-39 and falling to powerful Hico 55-35.

Glen Rose trailed Comanche 22-20 at halftime before outscoring the Maidens by three in both the third and fourth quarters.

Sophomore guard Reilly Junge had 15 points in the win. Lindsay Floyd tallied nine, Roxie Ruiz added six, Kayla Goebel netted four and Shelby Rotan chipped in with three.

Hico used its full-court pressure a dominant performance by guard Cassi Stegall to jump on Glen Rose 22-6 in the opening quarter before Glen Rose adjusted and kept the tally virtually even the rest of the way.

Junge led Glen Rose with 13 while Goebel scored seven, Kiffany Kelly and Destiny Ponce netted four each, Ruiz and Floyd both added two and Rotan netted one.

Stegall amassed 29 for Hico.
