Club Dynamite, a Glen Rose-based 16-year old girls volleyball team, placed second of 14 teams in a tournament in Plano last weekend.

Setter Blair Cowden from Granbury quarterbacked the offense with 57 assists. She also had six kills, six aces, 57 assists and two blocks.

Leading the way up front was Caitlin Fellers from Glen Rose with 32 kills to go with 10 aces and eight digs. Other up-front bangers inlcuded Krissa Reese from Rio Vista with 25 kills to go with five digs and five blocks, Matty Hazel from Glen Rose with 21 kills, nine blocks and an impressive 14 aces and Kylie Wheeler from Granbury with 21 kills, six aces and 13 digs.

Caitlin Fellers from Glen Rose helped with the setting chores, dishing out 33 assists to go with nine kills, three aces and 10 digs, while Shelby Lacey led the defense with 27 digs along with one kill.

The team is coached by Shannon Cuellar with assistance from Kathryn Rogge and Katy Irvin.
