Glen Rose struggled to just five third-quarter points in a 39-30 loss to Brock in boys basketball Friday.

Cody Burtscher led the team in the low-scoring game with nine points.

The Tigers had a strong first half, leading 18-14, but couldn't get it done in the third, where they were outscored 14-5.

"Our defense was great," Glen Rose head coach Wayne Roberts said. "We scouted Brock and they had scored 82 points the game before."

Colton Bretton grabbed 10 boards.

"The  game was just so physical it wasn't going to let anybody score a lot," Roberts said.

The Tigers travel to Burleson Cenntenial tonight and are in Godley's tournament Dec. 27-28.
