Glen Rose split a pair of contests in non-district JV baseball action last week, falling to Lampasas, 4-3, before thumping South Hills, 15-6.

Ryan Wilson and Gavin Fitzpatrick each had three hits to pace the offensive outburst in the win against South Hills, while four other Tigers, Tyler Tongate, Bakker Ingram, Logan Brandt and Stetson Murdock all had two base knocks each.

Fitzpatrick led GRHS in runs with three, while Wilson, Tongate, Ingram and Murdock all crossed the plate twice.

The Tigers were agressive on the base paths, getting away with eight steals. Tongate, Ingram, Brandt and Fitzpatrick all had two.

Ryan Wilson pitched all five innings for Glen rose and struck out seven South Hills hitters to earn the win.

Against Lampasas, Baker Ingram struck out eight batters in five innings, but it wasn't enough.

The Tigers struggled at the plate, with Wilson, Fitzpatrick and Tubbs picking up the team's only three hits. Weston Snow scored twice, while Wilson scored once and stole a base.
