Four different players found the end zone for the Glen Rose 9th grade red team in a 38-6 blowout of Carrollton last week.

Cody Burtscher had the biggest highlight on a 90-yard kickoff return and also scored on a run.

The Tigers also picked up scores by Luke Pugh, who ran for 39 yards, Colton Bretton, who rushed for 36 and passed for 20, and Austin Mapes, who hauled in a 20-yard scoring pass from Curry Mapes, who threw for 50 yards and ran for 18.

Glen Rose was dominant defensively, giving up just one big play through the air to prevent a shutout. Carter Brandt and Keith McAnally both pounced on Carrollton fumbles, while Burtscher made a team-high six tackles. Blake Eschbach had five stops.
