Walnut Springs (6-2, 4-0) wasted no time jumping all over Oglesby in what turned out to be a 74-17 blow out in Class A-Division II District 20 basketball action last week.

The Hornets used defense to lead 9-0 after one, offense to score 20 points in the second for a 29-7 halftime advantage, and a whole lot of both in outscoring Oglesby 27-3 in the third. The Hornets led 56-10 entering the fourth, and Olgelsby never had a chance.

Andrew Herring posted yet another double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Johnathan Stack had 12 points, six assists and three steals. Jacob White also scored 12 for Walnut Springs.
