The Glen Rose Lady Tigers lost a 57-56 nail-biter to Tolar in the first round of the Dublin Dr Pepper Tournament.

With 1:50 left in the game, Tolar was up 56-52.

Glen Rose's Reilly Junge forced a Tolar turnover and the Lady Tigers gained control of the ball.

With 58 seconds left, Junge drove the lane and hit a layup.

On the in-bounds play, Junge tipped the pass, dove and rolled her ankle going for the ball. She was forced to come out of the game.

With only 37 seconds left, Taylor Rhodes grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed layup and took it up strong to draw a foul.

Rhodes sunk both free throws, tying the game 56-56.

Junge returned, along with Shelby Rotan.

Tolar took the ball down the court and and missed a shot and the Lady Tigers secured the rebound.

On the outlet pass, Tolar stole the ball and went up for a quick layup, getting fouled by Glen Rose with seven seconds left on the clock.

Tolar made the first free throw but missed the second.

Junge drove the full court and had the ball stripped from her on the way up for a layup, ending the game.

Junge led the team with 23 points, followed by Roxy Ruiz with nine and Samantha Montoya with eight.

The Lady Tigers face Eastland, also in Dublin, at 10 a.m. Friday.
