Several weeks ago I experienced a mess in my van. I had gotten into my van and prepared to drive to set up for a dance. I noticed the radio dial was sticky. I also noticed the console was sticky. Not to mention the heavy smell of Dr. Pepper. This did not compute until I noticed one of those small Dr. Pepper cans in the drink holder.

GLEN ROSE — With more than 99% of the state of Texas experiencing drought conditions, Somervell County Water District General Manager Kevin Taylor announced Tuesday that the SCWD has entered Stage 1 of its drought contingency plan.
GLEN ROSE - As the Chalk Mountain Fire rages on, hundreds of volunteers from Glen Rose, Somervell and surrounding counties have come together to help community members affected by the blaze by donating food, water, pet supplies, baby formula, diapers, money, shelter and more.
GLEN ROSE — Just last Sunday, members of the Brown family shared a meal at the family home while enjoying the evening together. Little did they know that 24 hours later that home and four more on the family’s 200-acre compound would be gone.
The 3-day-old Chalk Mountain Fire has burned just under 7,000 acres and damaged or consumed 21 homes remains just 10% contained, according to a press release issued Wednesday afternoon by the Texas A&M Forest Service.
