Texas Pinners Conference has something for everyone

FORT WORTH The Texas Pinners Conference will be held from Sept. 30- Oct. 1, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. According to Roxanne Bennett of Bennett Events, the conference outgrew its previous location, “We had it in Arlington for two years but we outgrew the facility. The following year we held in downtown Dallas. The last two years we’ve held it at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth.”

Confusion continues over where to direct grievances at power bills

GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose and surrounding Somervell County residents are growing fearful as power bills for the months of July and August continue to baffle. County resident Anthony Walker created a petition with the aim to hold responsible parties accountable for charges that do not line up with usage; the petition stood at 173 signatures and growing as of Wednesday morning.
