The Glen Rose Tigers can capture their seventh consecutive undefeated district championship Friday night when they host Ferris at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Tigers down Eagles, 63-13, travel to Benbrook Friday
GLEN ROSE — With just two weeks left in the regular season, the Glen Rose Tigers are playing their best football. With their 63-13 victory over Hillsboro last Friday at Tiger Stadium, the Tiger offense has scored 63 points or more in three consecutive games, and the defense has allowed just 16 points per game in those three outings – including a shutout.
Lady Tigers place 7th at Region 1 meet
LUBBOCK — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers finished seventh overall at the Class 4A Region 1 Cross Country meet on Monday in Lubbock, missing out on qualifying for state as a team by just three spots. Glen Rose senior Mignon Miller led the Lady Tigers by placing 32nd with the time of 13 minutes, 07.60 seconds, followed by Lily Melton (325th, 13:18.00), Brynn Hasty (50th, 13:31.40), Daylynn Cassidy (55th, 13:35.60) and Zara Overton (84th, 14:24.50).
