GLEN ROSE —The Somervell County Food Bank, Papa’s Pantry, requires a few more items in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday this year. Cranberry sauce, boxed stuffing, apple or cherry pie filling, turkey gravy mix, and french fried onions are among the foods still needed.
13 arrested on conspiracy, drug trafficking charges
STEPHENVILLE — A total of 13 individuals are now in custody following an operation, led by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Officers with the Stephenville Police Department (SPD), and Deputies with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, on conspiracy and drug traffi cking charges outlined in a criminal indictment filed on Sept. 26, 2022.

Chamber hosts Leaverton
The Glen Rose Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, Oct. 20, at noon at the Sundown Bar & Grill off Highway 67. The luncheon speaker was Bill Leaverton, regional director of America’s Small Business Development Center at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
