
Lady Tigers open playoffs Monday with Big Spring

STEPHENVILLE — A total of 13 individuals are now in custody following an operation, led by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Officers with the Stephenville Police Department (SPD), and Deputies with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, on conspiracy and drug traffi cking charges outlined in a criminal indictment filed on Sept. 26, 2022.

“We had to find a way to separate ourselves from them because they were trying to take a lot of time off the clock every time they had the ball,” Watkins said. “That put them in a situation where they couldn’t afford to do that anymore. It’s great to see us be able to score on big plays to start a drive.”

The Glen Rose Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, Oct. 20, at noon at the Sundown Bar & Grill off Highway 67. The luncheon speaker was Bill Leaverton, regional director of America’s Small Business Development Center at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
