LIBERTY HILL — The Glen Rose Tiger Pride Band continued performing for a chance at winning the UIL Area Competition at Liberty Hill last Saturday, but it did not advance. Family members of the band poured out their support for the Tigers with heartfelt posts online.

GLEN ROSE — The Master Gardeners Club hosted a special presentation by Tessa Chenoa Ownbey at the Somervell County Citizens Center last week. The topic of discussion was pollination, specifically which pollinators are native to our area, why they’re necessary, and how to get more of them.
