White tops list of Tiger all-district honorees
GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose quarterback Hudson White rewrote the Glen Rose Football record book during his three-year varsity career with the Tigers, and it’s only fitting that the signal-caller was named the District 4-4A MVP for the second consecutive year when the teams were released earlier this week.
Lady Tigers enter break with three lopsided victories
GLEN ROSE — The top-ranked Glen Rose Lady Tigers kept the winning streak in tack by winning three games in four days to enter the Christmas break at a glossy 21-0. The Lady Tigers went on the road and beat China Spring, 69-16, on Saturday and then followed it up with a 58-15 win at Granbury on Monday and a 49-21 home victory over Marble Falls on Tuesday.

In A Barn Like Mine
The air was crisp and cold with just wind enough to go straight through you and the mist that fell kept me feeling wet and chilled. Dawn was another forty minutes away, but my horses were hungry and restless. As I moved through the shed row tossing hay into mangers and pouring feed into bins the cattle milled and bawled and the horses whinnied and blew through their noses. The goats made their presence known and reared up on the stall gate to make sure I didn’t forget their munchies.
Chambers supports new county operations position
