Alexis Rynders was named the regional tournament MVP, while Grace Booth and Aimee Flippen were named to the all-region team.
With the loss, the Tigers, the undefeated District 6-4A champions, end the season at 29-7.
Glen Rose sophomore guard Alexis Rynders scored a game-high 26 points (23 in the first half) to lead four Lady Tigers who scored in double figures.
Behind six first-place finishes and two second-place finishes, the Glen Rose boys powerlifting team captured the district championship Tuesday night at Aledo High School.
The Lady Tigers will open the tournament Thursday morning at 9 when they host Hico, and then they will close out first-day play with Maypearl at noon.
At the district meet, the Lady Tigers competed against Aledo, Azle, Brock, Granbury, Boswell, Saginaw and Chisholm Trail.
