Glen Rose woman explores connection to D-Day from a soldier's letters home
GLEN ROSE — Community elder Brenda Ransom, whose uncle provided the namesake for the American Legion Oliver Windell Buzan Post 462, recently shared the story of another relative, W.B. "Dan" Buzan, who served in the Army's 219th Field Artillery Battalion as a radio repair specialist, and whose involvement in World War II has long been a source of family pride.
