CLEBURNE — The Cleburne Railroaders and Cleburne Chamber of Commerce are teaming up this Fourth of July to light up La Moderna Field with fireworks, live music and family fun.
GLEN ROSE — The Somervell County Fire Department responded to a total of 79 calls for service during May 2025, ranging from grass fires and motor vehicle accidents to medical emergencies and service calls.
GLEN ROSE — The Somervell County Sheriff's Office reported 2,342 total calls for service during May 2025, according to figures released at the June Commissioners Court meeting.

GLEN ROSE – A committee consisting of Star Tull, Brittany Bowers, Mary Collier, Dallas Burch and Patti Hawkins from the Somervell County Glen Rose Chamber of Commerce hosted an inaugural Leading Ladies event at Stewart Title on Thursday evening to empower their fellow women in business just before the popular Ladies Night on the Square. Hawkins counted the event a success, noting an impressive turnout of 58 attendees, far exceeding the initial expectation of 20 from RSVPs.
