FORT WORTH – Robert Lee Merrill, 84, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church, 4200 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood.

Robert was born and raised in Glen Rose, Texas. He graduated from Glen Rose High School and later went to work for General Dynamics at the age of 17. He served in the U.S. Army. Robert married Lanell in 1963.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Winnie Merrill.

Survivors: Wife, Lois Lanell Merrill; three children, Randy, Kay and Ken; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Sophia, Maria, Michael, Amber, Chase and Caden; and several great-grandchildren.
