Johanna F. Walker Johnson
MEADOWBROOK, PA. - Johanna F. Walker Johnson, 77, died on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook, Pa.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at the Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), Huntingdon Valley, Pa. The interment was in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, Pa.
Born on Jan. 16, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa., she had been a lived in Philadelphia for the last 38 years. She had previously been resident of Oakford, Pa.
Mrs. Johnson retired employee of Marriott Corp. and the City of Philadelphia. She was a member and former president of the John W. Hallahan High School in Philadelphia. Johanna was also a member of the Catholic Kopling Society. She enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph H. Walker.
Johanna was the beloved wife of Thomas B. Johnson for 38 years and she was the devoted mother of James M. (Donna) Baker of Granbury, Richard A. (Sandy) Baker of Tolar, Johanna (Thomas) Heppler of Nemo, Donna (Douglas) Martino of Glen Rose, Michelle (Jeff) Oncay of Palmerton, Pa. and the late William “Billy” Baker; step-mother of Linda Miller of Philadelphia. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
