The Granbury Diabetes Support Group will meet on Thursday, Feb. 12, 7 p.m. at Quail Park Retirement Village of Granbury at 2300 Paluxy Hwy. in the Great Room. A public workshop to discuss the development of a Comprehensive Master Plan for the city of Glen Rose is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at the Somervell County Expo Center, 202 Gibbs Boulevard. The Annual Reagan Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Citizen’s Center. Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell (Ret.) will be the speaker. He is a survivor of the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
Helping hands needed to assist Christmas in Action Glen Rose. Workday is Saturday, March 28. Christmas in Action is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates the homes of senior citizens and the handicapped who cannot afford such repairs.
