Can't make the county stock show this weekend? The Reporter has it covered.

The 58th Annual Somervell County Youth Fair hits the expo center Friday morning, and the Reporter - and - will be on hand for the two-day event.

Coverage of the county fair won't stop until the market auction winds down Saturday. A new online feature - live, streaming video - will provide visitors to a bird's-eye-view of the expo arena as participants line up and strut their stuff.

Meanwhile, news room staff will snap photos, gather results and take notes, which will be shared in a new print product - a special section to be inserted in the Thursday, Jan. 23 edition. The youth fair tabloid will give participants, their families and readers a comprehensive review of the sights and successes from the event. The special section will also give youth whose animals and projects make it to market a special place to thank their supporters. It will include lots of photos, show results and related feature stories.

But that's not all. There will plenty of coverage online that may can only be seen at, including galleries packed full of photos. Division/class standings will be posted on the web.

Check out a few of the local youth participating in the show on the Reporter website, where weekly features published since August, introducing readers to a lineup of participants and their projects.
