GLEN ROSE — On Sept. 22, Dinosaur Valley State Park will host the second annual Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck, an event dedicated to raising awareness about veteran mental health struggles and honoring those affected.

BLUM — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers didn’t show any signs of rust with seven days between matches on Tuesday night as they dispatched the two-time defending Class 1A champion Blum Lady Bobcats, 25-23, 25-16, 25-15, on the road.
GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose High School senior Coy Bain focused on the local firefighting community when it was time to develop his Eagle Scout project, fabricating a custom-built gear drying rack designed to expedite the drying process for firefighting equipment.
