GLEN ROSE — Students from the ATA Martial Arts Glen Rose branch showcased their skills in the first tournament of the year during the ATA World Championship 2024 Tournament held in Phoenix.

GLEN ROSE — On July 9 and 11, Girl Scout Troops 2341 and 2325 personally delivered 236 boxes of cookies and containers of mixed nuts, which amounted to $1,472 in sales and donations, to hometown heroes at the Glen Rose Medical Center, Somervell County Sheriff's Office, Somervell County Fire Department, and Glen Rose Police Department.

Polly’s doctor has recommended nursing home care but Polly refuses to go into a facility, insisting upon remaining in her own home. Polly has no assets other than her home. She lives on her $2,400 a month Social Security check.
